Sonic Shows That "Everyday Sounds Better" at AudiologyNOW!
Sonic AG, SWITZERLAND April 13, 2012 - Sonic displayed its line of hearing solutions at the recent AudiologyNOW!® Conference in Boston to strong reviews, particularly around its new Flip mini receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing instrument.
Sonic’s presence at the show amplified the new brand message, “Everyday Sounds Better,” and further established Sonic as a value brand among professionals in the industry. Sonic’s latest consumer-inspired product – Flip – has held true to this message, with comments from various conference-goers and consumers praising the power, technology, attainability and discreet size of the device.
“We’ve been extremely pleased with the response Flip has generated among the industry and consumers,” said Kathy Landon, Vice President of Branding and Professional Services at Sonic. “In the few short months that Flip has been on the market, it has drawn the attention of consumers because it takes into account the needs of the modern wearer. The Flip form factor differs from other solutions in the miniRIC category in that the design incorporates an extra large volume control to compensate for the patient dexterity challenges and to accommodate easily accessible on-ear adjustments. In addition, the unique flip open casing houses a large size 13 battery which offers approximately 238 hours of battery life as compared to similar miniRIC models that only fit a size 312 battery allowing for closer to 130 hours of battery life.
